It's been 2 days that I first knew about the show, by mistake actually, and like a magnet, stuck to my iPad in Riyadh, watched all the episodes. I was living Beirut enjoying, ur meticulous attention to detail, culture, the script is natural...It was intentional I know, u made me live Beirut, my city, all of it, remembering lots of memories around it. Wow congratulations, it's really nice. And I can see pictures from beirut and hear a little bit lebanese again, it makes me so happy. :)
Just a little thing: when we are looking for an old episode, we have to scroll back till the begining, and when we choose a video, it brings us back at the last video, and we have to scroll again.. it's not handy. You should put a link to the beginning, or modify the display in the way we can go from a season to another more easily.
Otherwise, I wish you good luck, and I really hope you will continue. And thank you for making me smile. And thank you for building a lebanese culture on the web. ;)

I am a keen fan of your mini series and believe that your producers, actors, writers and directors have all done a fantastic job as well displaying excellence in their acting methods and film techniques. You guys have alot of potential. I, as a Lebanese person, am extremely proud of the level of quality and talent we have as a nation in the film industry in lebanon and with many young and upcomming talents such as yourselves, I believe the lebanese film industry can develop the same international repuation and prestige like the italians, british and americans have done in their contributions to film.
However that being said, you all must understand that for any aspiring film directors or actors to be successful, they must be humble enough to accept positive and constructive criticism. This your acceptance of critical but positive and polite feedback is critical to your development as a film expert. You must be able to recognise where you are going wrong and what you can do to better cater for the film market or target audience that you are trying to market a film to, while at the same time, you should be congratulated for all your hard work and effort in all your achievments.
My only feedback is that you should all try to heavily restrain excessive use of english and french in the TV series and look more to your native arabic language, which is a treasure trove full of potential. We want to maintain our linguistic authenticity in lebanese films just like italians show the same dedication and pride in the strict use of their own language. Please try to dig into lebanon's native roots and heritage and restrict yourselves to arabic, rather than taking the unoriginal option and speaking french and english excessively.

i especially love the non chronological flow of certain episodes.

I really love this show and i think it's just so different that it is the best lebanese show to be ever created. it is so realistic and that's why there's so many positive feedback. i think each person can see himself/herself in it in a way or another. the only problem is that the episodes aren't being uploaded online as often. i mean i don't live in Lebanon anymore and the only way i can keep up is by watching them online and the wait is killing me. i was just wondering if you could post them more often. keep up the good work, you guys are awesome!!

I love these movies that you guys make . When I first read the link "YOU LOVE BEIRUT", I imagined the way I love her. I have witnessed and lived its rises and falls. 'She' incensed my early university mornings with Fairouz and sugarless Arabian coffee near a coughing bus. Yes, she cuddled me, like a mistress tickling the belly of the morning. Tickling, to ravish the morning's wings under a broken shield of velvet hair, when the sun drops dead.

Fantastic show! I love how you encourage people to love Beirut regardless of her flaws and how you showcase the positive and the negative aspects in Lebanese society. You've created a colorful and touching show. I recommend you read "Bliss Street" by Kris Kenway and use the story line for an additional feature film. I want to move back to Lebanon, and I think this is a show that encourages my idea no matter how many people think the country is crippled. "Beirut, I love you."

This year, I met a lebanese girl in which I fell deeply in love. She told me many stories from her childhood and from Lebannon in general. This is where I started to like Lebannon. Then, I met her family and didn't understand anything of what they were saying. Of course : I don't speak Arabic, only french and english. Though, that caught my interest and started to learn a little bit of arabic with her help. That's when I started to really like Lebannon. Today, I was really missing my love ( habibi ana) and started this serie. I've watched the whole episodes in one day. This is when I started to LOVE Beirut and Lebannon. Beirut, I love you.

Wow i just love this series! I started watching it today, and i finished the last episode and I really wanted to see more! Congrats for such an original creation. On every episode i got more and more excited since the first episode was about 2 minutes long, and the last was 8 min long, it just leaves me wanting more hahaha I love all the characters, everything, it's just a glimpse of young lebanese through their lives, which is what I always wanted to be part of. Finally a good independent short series in Arabic - Props! I'm just wondering how representative it is of Lebanese youth. I'm not from Beirut, I'm Palestinian, but the parent-kid relationship seems to be very westernized - example: "Tarek calling his mom Leila". Is it portrayed this way for a specific reason?

I adore this internet drama and I think along with Shankaboot the Lebanese have truly proven that they can come up with great thoughts and ideas that can impress everyone, without having to base them on other foreign performances. The acting is "real" as in a way you think you're watching reality TV, but only because these are real life situations. I like all of them but my favourite are Hady and Nawal (the typical Lebanese for his age/a deeply emotional woman). Keep it up guys and we hope to see more from you with more strong "Beirut stuff" :)
